The onboarding workflow is one of the best parts because new hires can complete documents, payroll setup, and account access without multiple follow-ups from HR. The interface is modern and easy to navigate compared to older HR systems we used before. Automation features also save time, especially for recurring tasks like employee status updates, approvals, and payroll processing. We also liked the integrations with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom because they simplified user access management. From a value-for-money perspective, it worked well for us since we did not need separate systems for every HR and IT function. > > **Inconvénients**: Some advanced workflows and settings take time to fully understand during initial setup, so there is a bit of a learning curve for admins. I appreciate that the application allows me to "clock-in" directly via my smartphone and view my pay stubs as well. The ability to get approval for time off quickly; and, being able to make changes to my direct deposit information through the system has greatly simplified this process. > > **Inconvénients**: Anytime there is a new version of the software released by the developers, they tend to rearrange many of the items in the menu system, but do not provide any notice to users. In addition, anytime i call customer service and ask them a question that does not appear in their general help section, it always seems to take hours to resolve. The system creates issues unimaginable because it's set up in such an odd and illogical way. Everything breaks whenever you try to do anything. While workforce planning isn't so bad, everything else is absolutely horrible. We faced a lot of mistakes with payroll as well that we are still auditing, which has cost us countless hours and a lot of money to fix. Rippling was also supposed to help with IT, automation, and provisioning, but that doesn't work either. The setup wasn't easy, even though I wasn't directly involved. > > Simply the WORST tool to have existed in the HRIS or payroll world - specially if using it outside US as well. Although even in the US their payroll was a mess - even now - months later - we are still trying to fix the problems THEY made for THEM\! Having payroll, HR, compliance, performance management, device management, and employee records all in one platform is incredibly convenient and helps streamline day-to-day operations. > > **Inconvénients**: Like any tech platform, there's always room for improvement as features and integrations continue to evolve. The Workflow Studio and Recruiting app could be more user-friendly and offer greater customization. Workflow Studio has a learning curve, and additional training resources, updated articles, or courses would help users get up to speed more quickly. The Recruiting app is somewhat limited in terms of customization. For example, the hiring pipeline and interview plans require five stages, whereas our process only includes an application review, a final interview, and an offer stage. Navigating thru forms requires you to go thru about 4 levels of menus … very frustrating when you’re in a hurry. My auto correct constantly changes words while I’m typing this \& it’s driving me insane.
